To give you as much information as possible, the MBF team has provided you with a list of commonly asked Questions along with Answers to help you get better acquainted with our service.
Q: HOW DOES YOUR SERVICE WORK?
A: We are a full-service sustainable meal delivery service offering food for your work or home 7 days a week. We offer 4 meal plans to suit your individual needs. Once you place your order, you can receive your first delivery within 48 hours.
Q: WHAT IS YOUR MINIMUM DELIVERY?
A: Our minimum order is for a 2-day trial period. However once you try our delicious and healthy cuisine, you will be coming back for more! :)
Q: DO I HAVE TO ORDER THE FULL DAY’S MEAL? OR CAN I ORDER A LA CARTE?
A: At this time, our program is set up to provide you with an effortless and efficient way to fuel your body. Our menu is designed to ensure that you are getting in the correct balance of nutrients on a daily basis while keeping you on health driven road for success!
Q: WHAT IF I AM ALLERGIC TO CERTAIN FOOD ITEMS. CAN I SUBSTITUTE?
A: We create a food profile for each of our clients so that we can omit any food allergies or intolerances. Special dietary restrictions may incur an additional daily fee.
Q: WHAT TIME WILL I RECEIVE MY DELIVERY? HOW OFTEN DO YOU DELIVER?
A: Our drivers will be dropping food at your doorstep between the hours of 7pm-12am every Sunday, Tuesday & Thursday. Each delivery will contain 2 days of food (with the exception of Thursday, which includes 3 days). If you need a time specific delivery, please let us know and we will do our best to accommodate you. Please note that orders with timed deliveries will be charged an additional service fee.
Q: HOW LONG WILL THE FOOD STAY COLD IN THE DELIVERY BAG?
A: Your food will be packed in a thermal delivery bag along with ice packs to help in keeping your food as cool as possible. Your food should stay cool within 2-4 hours of your delivery, depending upon current weather conditions. We suggest that you place your food containers in refrigeration as soon as possible. Our drivers will inform you when your food is dropped off, should you not be home.
Q: ARE THERE RE-HEATING & SERVING INSTRUCTIONS FOR EACH MEAL?
A: Yes we label each package with specified directions to include the Day of the Meal, Meal Type and specific re-heating & serving instructions. Our goal is to make this an effortless experience for you!
Q: WHAT DO I DO WITH THE RE-USABLE THERMAL BAG?
A: In order to prevent waste and keeping conscious with our environment, we ask that you kindly leave your bag at the doorstep for our driver to pick up when delivering your next set of meals. In the event you would like to keep the bag, you would be charged $7.50 per bag that is not returned.
Q: DO YOU HAVE A MENU FOR KIDS?
A: We are working on a “Sunday Supper” program that we hope to launch later this fall. In addition, we hope to have a “Green Sack” lunch program for kids to take to school. For more information, please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org!
Q: WHAT KIND OF PAYMENTS DO YOU ACCEPT?
A: Our merchant service partner Paypal, accepts all major credit cards, including paying through your individual Paypal account.
Q: DO YOUR MEALS HAVE A DAILY CALORIE COUNT?
A: Our Philosophy is not based on calorie counting, as we have found that it is the combination of foods you consume that allow your body to be efficient and maintain a healthy lifestyle. We consult with our medical partner Dr. Cate Shanahan weekly to review the contents and portions of all ingredients to make your one-of-a-kind farm fresh sustainable cuisine.
