To give you as much information as possible, the MBF team has provided you with a list of commonly asked Questions along with Answers to help you get better acquainted with our service.
Q: HOW DOES YOUR SERVICE WORK?
A: We are a full-service sustainable meal delivery service offering food for your work or home 6 days a week. Each day of food consists of breakfast, lunch, dinner, mid-am snack, mid-pm snack and a dessert. You can order online here (jump to order page) and get your first delivery within 48 hours.
Q: WHAT IS YOUR MINIMUM DELIVERY?
A: Our minimum order is for a 3-day trial period. Most of our clients choose to order per week or per month for an additional discount. You can look up our pricing sheet for our 4 meal plans here (jump to pricing page).
Q: DO I HAVE TO ORDER THE FULL DAY’S MEAL? OR CAN I ORDER A LA CARTE?
A: At this time, our program is set up to provide you with an effortless and efficient way to fuel your body. Our menu is designed to ensure that you are getting in the correct balance of nutrients on a daily basis while keeping you on health driven road for success!
Q: WHAT IF I AM ALLERGIC TO CERTAIN FOOD ITEMS. CAN I SUBSTITUTE?
A: Yes, please let us know ahead of time your specific food allergy and we will modify your daily meal plan to suit your individual health needs.
Q: WHAT TIME WILL I RECEIVE MY DELIVERY? HOW OFTEN DO YOU DELIVER?
A: Our drivers will be dropping food at your doorstep or workplace each night between the hours of 12am-6am every Monday, Wednesday and Friday. Each delivery will contain 2 days of food. If you need a time specific delivery, please let us know and we will do our best to accommodate you. Please note that orders with timed deliveries will be charged an additional service fee.
Q: WILL I KNOW IN ADVANCE THE MENU FOR EACH MEAL?
A: Yes each week the menu will post Wednesday morning for the following week which starts on Monday. As our menu is based on seasonal availability from our local farms, there may be slight changes to the menu if Chef Debbie does not feel the product is up to highest of standards. If there are any changes it will be noted in your delivery bag.
Q: HOW LONG WILL THE FOOD STAY COLD IN THE DELIVERY BAG?
A: Your food will be packed in a thermal delivery bag along with ice packs to help in keeping your food as cool as possible. Your food should stay cool within 2-4 hours of your delivery, depending upon current weather conditions. We suggest that you place your food containers in refrigeration as soon as possible.
Q: ARE THERE RE-HEATING & SERVING INSTRUCTIONS FOR EACH MEAL?
A: Yes we label each package with specified directions to include the Day of the Meal, Meal Type and specific re-heating & serving instructions. Our goal is to make this an effortless experience for you!
Q: WHAT KIND OF PACKAGING DO YOU USE?

Q: WHAT DO I DO WITH THE RE-USABLE THERMAL BAG?
A: In order to prevent waste and keeping conscious with our environment, we ask that you kindly leave your bag at the doorstep for our driver to pick up when delivering your next set of meals. In the event you would like to keep the bag, you would be charged $3.50 per bag that is not returned.
Q: DO YOU HAVE A MENU FOR KIDS?
A: We are working on a “family to fork” program that we hope to launch by the summer of 2015. In addition, we hope to have a “Brown Sack” lunch program for kids to take to school. For more information, please contact us at email@example.com
Q: WHAT KIND OF PAYMENTS DO YOU ACCEPT?
A: To make is easy on our clients, we are set up with our merchant system through squareup.com. This will allow you to complete your order and keep track of your billing for easy accounting.
Q: DO YOUR MEALS HAVE A DAILY CALORIE COUNT?
A: Our Philosophy is not based on calorie counting, as we have found that it is the combination of foods you consume that allow your body to be efficient and maintain a healthy lifestyle. Each meal is all-natural using only the freshest of ingredients straight from the farms. We consult with our resident nutritionist Yvonne Koshel weekly to review the contents and portions of all ingredients to make your one-of-a-kind farm fresh sustainable cuisine.
